Bonnie Ann Woodruff, age 66, of McHenry, died Friday, June 15, 2012. She was born May 11, 1946 in Chicago to Casey and Stella (Wisniewski) Banach.
On November 27, 1981, she married James E. Woodruff at Lutheran Church of Atonement in Barrington.
Bonnie was a resident of McHenry for the past 27 years. A homemaker for the majority of her lifetime, she was employed for over 15 years as a secretary in McHenry.
Bonnie was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in McHenry. Enjoyments included cooking, traveling, dining out, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include a daughter, Christy (Doug) Lewis of McHenry; her mother, Stella Banach; a sister, Nancy Gatz; two nephews, Joe (Jay) Gatz and T.J. (Cathryn) Gatz; two great nieces, Kylie and Ally; and her best friend, Diana Sayrs.
She was preceded in death by her father, Casey Banach; and her husband, James E. Woodruff, on March 22, 2000.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2012, at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry, IL 60050
Visitation will resume from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19 at Shepherd of the Hills Church, 404 N. Green Street, McHenry. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Roger Schneider officiating.
Interment will be private.
