Camille J. Koehl, age 67, of Lakemoor, passed away after a long courageous battle with cancer.
She was born November 9, 1943 in Chicago to Alfonse and Genevieve (Riche) Daurio. She was a devoted mother, a doting grandmother and great-grandmother; a fun-loving spirit who loved to cook and tend to her flower gardens; and was truly dedicated to her work as President of Camille J. Koehl & Associates, Koehl Construction & Development and Pressing Matters, Ltd. She will be greatly missed.
She received a BS in Accounting from DePaul University in 1976, post graduate education from Roosevelt University in 1987, and was a member of the International Board of Certified Financial Planners. She was a Certified Public Accountant. She was recognized in the 2000 Who’s Who in the World & 2000 Who’s Who in America.
She is survived by her mother, Genevieve Daurio of Lakemoor; four children, David Koehl Sr. of McHenry, Laura Kobeszko of Lakemoor, Robert (Liane) Koehl of Lakemoor, Karen (John) Noel of Johnsburg; 11 grandchildren, David Koehl Jr., Camille (Mike) Martinez, Casey Kobeszko, Melissa Noel, Jonathon Kobeszko, Jennifer Koehl, Stephanie Noel, Kristen Kobeszko, Brandon Koehl, Robert Koehl II, Devyn Koehl; 7 great grandchildren, Kelsey, Jillyan, Bianca, Allena, Shawn, Breana, and Destiny.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alfonse Daurio on Feb. 9, 2004.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry.
The funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 21, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Johnsburg.
Inurnment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
