Dear Mr. and Mrs. Zerwas,
I'm not sure if you remember me, but I am the youngest daughter of Marie and Ed Nolan, your formal neighbors on Banbury Ave in EGV. I just read the news about the passing of Carrie and I wanted to say how very sorry I am to hear this, especially of someone so very young. Carrie was a few years younger than me, but I do remember her and how bubbly she always seemed to be. You two were always good to me and were wonderful friends to my parents. Sadly, I do understand, in my own way, what you and your family are facing, for I lost my sister, Suzanne, in 2020, followed by my niece Lori, a young mother of a 5 yr old boy, in 2021. It hurts everyday, but the memories keep me going as I know they will for you too. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.
Although we didn’t get to spend a lot of time together, I always felt so calm, welcomed, and wanted to be around Carrie. My cousin, Carrie, was a beautiful person inside and out and that was apparent to me even at a young age. She helped me understand how to let things roll and keep things light and positive even in sad times. I know she will be greatly missed and I pray for those who were blessed to know her better than myself. Rest In Peace. Give Grandma and Grandpa Kocon a great big hug for me. ❤️

My sincere condolences goes out to Catherine & The entire Zerwas Family for the loss.
My sister,Linda, made me aware of Carrie’s passing. I know our families have not seen each other for years, but I have great childhood memories of playing with Craig,Pat,Brian, and I remember Carrie as the baby sister who played with Linda! From meeting your family when we lived on Middlebury Lane to when we moved to Dorchester(our family) and Berkinshire(your family), a lot of adventures were had! I am so sorry to hear this news and please know that you are all in my prayers. May you feel the Lord’s comfort and healing during this time. Susan(Allen)Noguchi

May God wrap his arms around all of you and give you peace and understanding!!
During these times we don't always understand why God chose Carrie to be his next angel but I believe he will give all of you the strength to carry on. Remember the good times and smile when you think of her! Make her proud in everything you do in life!
