My memories of Charlie go back to Armstrong Elementary School in Rogers Park and Boy Scout Troop #923. Unfortunately I lost track of him shortly takes many turns. My condolences to his family. I will remember his positive attitude and smile, always. I made a small donation to the ADA, in Charlie's memory and for a son who battles diabetes daily. Ed Jarger

i had not seen Chuck since high school and my last memory of him would probably make him cringe. We appeared in the amateur revue show called Ruetama and we were dressed like a couple of rabbits named George and Lenny. Chuck looked out to the audience and said "Look George, look at all the people George. Tell me about the people George". If you read "Of Mice and Men" the line was funny; less funny if you hadn't read the book. Chuck, it was an honor being on stage with you that night. May your life be a blessing. Gary Gluck

I remember meeting Chuck through a network group at the McHenry Chamber then also met Susan. We would lament and encourage each other about step parenting. That meant so much to me and his kind words of encouragement will never be forgotten♥️
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Chuck- You always had the biggest smile in every room. Always full of joy and the love of life. I knew Chuck when we both had businesses in the same building- over 30 years ago! We would go for drinks after work every week and we hung out a lot on the weekends for several years! He was a great friend of our family. Chuck had been our health insurance professional for over 30 years and we were working with him just a few weeks ago, so this came as a great shock! He will always be remembered for his smile- and his positivity. We have lost a gentle soul- and kind soul. May you Rest In Peace Chuck........much love Mary Rector and my family.

I met Charlie in Grammar school. We got along great right off the bat, he was friendly, funny and enjoyable to talk to. He's a person that you always wanted to stay in touch with even years down the road. He'll truly be missed..

Chuck and I have been friends since Mather High. Although not close, we kept in touch and recently worked together for the good of our state and country. Chuck was a hard working, successful man who I looked up to. I remember passing his house while walking to school and oftentimes walking together along with some other friends. Chuck starred in a high school movie I made in a Mather film class. It was a terrible movie, to no fault of Chuck’s. I received an F on the project due to my being a bit of a rebel at the time. It was funny reading the teacher’s review which I kept, which had nothing to do with the fine acting job of Chuck and all to do with me being a punky high school kid. I will miss you and will always hold a special place for you in my heart. God bless you and your family. Perry Myers
