Clidene Kildew age 72, of Round Lake Beach, IL passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022, with her loving family by her side. She was born on April 20, 1950, in Summertown, TN to Clyde Pigg and Nettie LeMay. Clidene married the love of her life and best friend Jerry Lee Kildew on June 10, 1967.  They were happily married for 47 years.  She loved to garden and was an amazing cook. She especially loved making Southern dishes. Clidene had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. Her favorite singer was Dolly Parton and the family loved hearing her sing. Clidene loved celebrating the holidays and cherished every moment because it brought the whole family together. Clidene was a very loving person who treated everyone with kindness and compassion and had a huge impact on many people’s lives.  

Clidene is survived by her daughter: Jami Crundwell; sons: Brian (Nilam) Kildew-Shah, Scott (Gabby) Kildew; grandchildren: Faith Kildew, Rohan and Tulsi Kildew-Shah, Amanda, Emily and Justin Crundwell, and Brittany Harper; sister: Mary Fay Matlock. 

She is preceded by husband: Jerry Lee Kildew; brother: Donald Pigg; parents: Clyde and Nettie Pigg. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 5 to 8 PM, with a Funeral Service on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Justen’s Round Lake Funeral Home, 222 N. Rosedale Court, Round Lake, IL.  With interment to follow at Avon Center Cemetery in Grayslake, IL.
