Connie Lynn Hanson, age 71, of Rochelle, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at her home. She was born on December 1, 1948, to Dale Zickur and Harriett (Kunde) Zickur in Douglas County, Minnesota.

Connie loved to decorate for the holidays, she also liked music from the 70s that she would sing and dance to, and she had a passion for plants and flowers. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and friends making memories to cherish for a lifetime. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Connie is survived by her two sons: Michael and Mark Hanson; 6 grandchildren: Michelle, Dylan, Amber, Autumn, Michael, and Johnathon; 1 great grandchild; and siblings: Denny, Dean, Coral, Carol, and Cathy.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Dale and Harriett Zickur; and 2 siblings: Cindy and Darrell.

Visitation will be on Saturday, November 21, 2020, at Justen Funeral Home 3700 W Charles J. Miller Road in McHenry, IL from 12 – 3:00 pm.

In accordance with public gathering restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a mask and observe social distancing. The funeral home staff will monitor capacity limits and allow up to 10 people in at a time.
