Dear Clark Family, I was blessed to know Dane initially through family. More recently, I was able to get to know Dane more when he completed the sale transaction of my home. It was an honor to know such a wonderful man. I know that your hearts are hurting beyond what any words can console. Keep his memory alive with his beautiful nieces and nephews. It will help with the healing process. Much love and prayers through this very difficult time. Rosemary Karner

Kathy and Chuck, My heart just sank when I read the paper yesterday and saw Dane's death notice. I just couldn't believe that this had really happened. I remember the sweet little boy with such a beautiful disposition, playing with our Michael during their days at Montini together. You are living every parents worst nightmare. Parents aren't supposed to bury their children. And to have it happen at a time when dfamily and friends can't even gather together to celebrate his memory in a public way just adds insult to injury. We'd love to send you a card but no longer have an address for you. If you could send it to me via email, I'd be so grateful. twweaver@earthlink.net

Still completely in shock and devastated over the passing of Dane. He was an amazing man that I was fortunate to spend 5 years of my life with. Even though we went our separate ways he always held a special place in my heart, and he always will. My heart breaks for you all. Please know I’m keeping you all in my prayers and I’m sharing in your grief. Once the restaurants open back up I’m having a plate of biscuits and gravy for him, maybe cast a line or two in the lake. Huge hugs to you all. Jessica

I knew and spent time with Dane for a few years in the 2000s. I met Dane through my friend Jason Baartz who is a cousin of Dane's. One cool memory is going swimming with Dane at his parent's pool at their house which was quite new at the time from what I remember. The family let me bring my black lab to go swimming too, which they probably regretted after finding all his fur in the filters. So sorry!! That was a fun day hanging out with Dane and going swimming. My thoughts are with the entire family through this very tough time
