Daniel A. Lawniczak, 75, of Spring Grove, passed away on October 10, 2016 at JourneyCare in Woodstock.
He was born on August 23, 1941 to Henry and Eurwen (Jones) Lawniczak. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country. He was later united in marriage with the love of his life, Dawn S. Koseck, on March 22, 2004 in Las Vegas.
During his lifetime, Daniel was known for his talent in all aspects of millwork and was employed as a site work carpenter at R&D Thiel for 35 years. In his free time, he could be found playing golf, his favorite sport. He enjoyed bingo and was also an exceptional poker player, especially Texas Hold ‘Em.
Daniel was a deeply loving and caring person who had the gift of making anyone he was chatting with feel like they were the only person in the room. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a man who would do anything for anyone, no questions asked.
He leaves behind his wife, Dawn; his children, Laura Bostic, Andrew Lawniczak, Randy Koseck, and Nicole (Jason) McIntosh; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Thomas (Betty) Lawniczak and Lawrence (Beverly) Lawniczak; and two sisters, Kathleen Lawniczak and Holly (Roland) Wood.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents.
The family held a private service to celebrate Daniel’s life.
