My deepest condolences to the family. Dan was an amazing colleague that I will truly miss. My heart is heavy as Dan was not only a colleague but also my friend. People like Dan are hard to come by (positive, friendly, trustworthy, and did not complain etc.) I am honored to have had a friend like Dan. Rest In Peace.

So sorry for your loss. Dan and I shared a cubicle wall in Buffalo Grove and a mutual passion for roller coasters. Dan was always willing to help work-wise (I was a little rusty on doing V-Lookups in Excel and he gave me a quick refresher recently), and he was a delightful source of information on amusement parks and roller coasters. He seemed to know everyone in that business and everyone seemed to know him. Will miss him.

My heart goes out to Tom and the Hauschild Family. Dan and I habe been friends for a few years. He always brought a smile to my face, was always there if i needed to talk with someone. There will never be anyone like Dan that i will come across. He was one of the kindest and sweetest guys i will ever know. His love for coasters and theme parks is how i got to know him and through American Coaster Enthusiasts ACE. Thank you for everything Dan. You will be missed dearly but never Forgotten.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Dan was a great friend or even extended family to many. I have known Dan since at least senior year of high school. his warm heart and amazing spirit will be missed. His love and zeal for life and everyone whom he held dear will forever keep his memory alive in us all. There are many memories Dan and I have shared through this journey called life and was looking forward to many more. It's a difficult road ahead as grieve your passing but Dan, I hope the coasters and furry conventions in heaven put the ones here on earth to shame. Ride on buddy. Thank you for contributing positively to my life. Thank you for the memories that I hope will remain with me for the rest of my life. Thank you for tagging along or letting me tag along on many trips we shared. Thank you for your positive contributions to several charities and organizations you supported. Thank you for being a friend. Thank you for being a great role model for us all. My sincerest of condolences, thoughts, and prayers go to Thomas Brady (Dan's husband), Dan and Tom's families, and the rest of Dan's friends whom are also in mourning the loss of our dear friend.
