David M. Steinbach, age 48, passed away on October 2, 2020. He was born on August 2, 1972, to Frederick and Katherine (Zawada) Steinbach in Chicago, IL.
David was a printer by trade for his whole life and was very proud of his profession. Most would think of his outgoing personality, and everyone who knew, him liked him instantly. Everyone would describe him as a charismatic individual. His latest hobby was his motorcycle. Though his family was spread out, he also enjoyed going fishing with his son and father, and in recent years, became a proud grandfather. His family truly loved him and will always remember him.
David is survived by a son, David A. (Elysia) Steinbach, of Twentynine Palms, CA, a daughter, Shannon (Rick Burchett) Steinbach, of Antioch, IL, his father, Frederick (Karen) Steinbach; his mother, Katherine Zawada; his former wife of 30 years and mother of his children, Suzanne Steinbach; grandchildren, Avery (age 5), Luca (age 2), Mila (age 1), and Ricky (age 1).
Three half sisters, Karey Kumorek, Heidi Christie, Bethany Steinbach; and his maternal grandfather, Mitch Zawada.
Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m with a service to follow, on Saturday, October 10th, 2020, at Justen’s Round Lake Funeral Home, 222 N. Rosedale Court, Round Lake, IL 60073. Inurnment is private for the family.
In accordance with public gathering restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a mask and observe social distancing. The funeral home staff will monitor capacity limits and allow up to 50 people in at a time.
