Deborah Marie Hume, age 59, of Johnsburg, died May 22, 2012 at her home.
She was born June 29, 1952 in Dryden, Michigan to Axton and Margaret (Flanders) Hammond.
Formerly of Woodstock, Deborah moved to Johnsburg in September of 2001. She was employed at Centegra Hospital – McHenry as an RN. She had work in the Emergency Room and also Medical Imaging.
She was a member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 1348, serving as Senior Regent and in training to qualify for College of Regents. She was also a member of the Polish Legion of American Veterans Post 188 in McHenry.
Deborah loved working on the pond and garden in her yard. She liked traveling and enjoyed planning with her husband Mark, his father’s WWII ship reunion on the USS San Jacinto.
She is survived by her husband Mark; three sons, Donovan (Amber) Bartlett of Ottawa, Spencer ( Jackie) Hume of Clinton, Iowa, Joseph Fahlbeck of Clinton; eight grandchildren, Victoria, Gary, Lauren, Samuel, Taylor, Landin, Isaiah, McKenzie; a brother, Mark Hammond ; and a sister, Karen Powers.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be a Celebration of Life from 12 noon until 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the McHenry Moose Lodge #691, 3535 N. Richmond Road, Johnsburg, IL 60050.
