Dennis Braun

Dennis P. Braun age 56, of Round Lake Park passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 8, 2022. He was born on June 3, 1966, in Evanston, IL to Ronald and Elizabeth (Kramer) Braun. He met and married his best friend and love of his life Wendy Hall on December 2, 1988, in Waukegan, IL and have been happily married for 33 years.

Dennis loved cars and it didn’t matter if they were model cars or real-life size, but his favorite make of car was the Chevrolet, which earned him the nick name Mr. Chevrolet. He loved cats and if a cat showed up on the doorstep Wendy knew there was a new addition to the family. Dennis could be described as meticulous, passionate, good hearted, and of course funny. What Wendy loved most about Dennis was his heart for people. His greatest love was spending time with family and friends making memories to be cherished for a lifetime. Dennis also had love and respect for the men and women who served our country past and present. He never missed an opportunity to shake a hand and give thanks for their service.

Dennis is survived by his loving Wife: Wendy Braun; Father: Ronald Braun and many aunts, uncles and cousins. His favorite cousin Jessica McCool; Brother-in-law: Scott Hall (Jaclyn); Nephew: Sam Hall and many other nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his Mother: Elizabeth Braun; Mother In Law: JoAnn French; Father In Law: Jerry French Sr. and Aunt: Diane McCool.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
