Diana D. Schultz, age 59, of Wonder Lake, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 8, 1956 in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, to Hayes and Inez Davis. On May 20, 2004, she married Allen Schultz in Wonder Lake.
Diana was an avid photographer, documenting all the family events on film. She enjoyed getting her hands in the dirt, everyday she would work on her garden or landscaping. She was an excellent cook, always experimenting with different recipes, with dreams of opening her own café. Most of all, Diana adored her grandchildren, making regular phone calls to keep in touch. Diana was a devoted wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother, who will be missed by all.
Survivors include her husband of 11 years, Allen; two daughters Lisa Hilton, Kelly (Roger) Askin; three sons, Rodney (Rachael) Gordon, Steven (Susan) Duensing, Brian Schultz; six grandchildren, Riley, Noah, Caleb, Brittany, Matthew, Danielle; one great-grandchild, Raya; one sister, Rita (Ilui) Enriquez; four brothers, Gary (Vickie) Davis, Tyron (Cleofoe) Davis, and Roger Davis.
In addition to her parents, Diana is preceded in death by her brother Verlee (Pam) Davis.
The memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at The Wonder Lake Bible Church, 7501 Howe Road, Wonder Lake, IL 60097. The cremation rite was accorded privately.
