Ellsworth K Lash

Ellsworth K. Lash passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022, at his residence in Island Lake IL.  He was born to James and Erma Lash (Fields) on June 29, 1938, in Columbus, OH.  Ellsworth enlisted in the U.S. Airforce in 1955 and was honorably discharged in 1959.  He later married the love of his life Linda D Lash on December 17, 1986, in Chicago IL where they lived until 1993 and then moved to Island Lake, IL.

Ellsworth loved the Lord, His God, and his church community has over abundantly showered us with love, but he also enjoyed bowling and fishing on the St. Joe River in Indiana and on Lake Erie in Ohio. He was a caring person that will be remembered for always bringing a smile to others, he recently rededicated his life to the Lord and was a member of Crossroads Community Church in Port Barrington, Il. for more than 25 years.

He will be missed forever by so many.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of over 35 years, Linda Lash, his brother Roland Jackson of Columbus Ohio, a host of stepsons and stepdaughters (Michelle, Donillo (Mary), Michael, Daminga and Joey to name a few), loads of nieces and nephews and cousins!

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and 3 sisters.

Visitation will be held at the Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W Charles J. Miller Rd, McHenry IL 60050, on Monday, August 8, 2022, from 10-12 pm with a Funeral Service at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Windridge Cemetery, Cary, IL.
