Eugenia Ann Trawinski, age 89 of Round Lake Beach, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2006, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
     She was born March 30, 1917 in Chicago to Michael and Sophie (Pokrifko) Brosko. On February 8, 1964 she married Sylvester Trawinski at the Community Church of Round Lake.
     Formerly of Chicago, Eugenia had resided in Round Lake Beach since 1958. She was employed by Time Magazine until retiring in 1964.
     She was a member of the Community Church of Round Lake, the Women’s Club of the church, and the Round Lake Senior Citizen Club. She enjoyed crafts, needle work and sewing.
     Survivors include her husband Sylvester of 42 years; two children, Jean (Glenn) Knoblock of Round Lake Beach, John (the late Patricia) Hill or Arlington Heights; four grandchildren, Diana (Paul) Vaysberg, Michael Knoblock, Julianne (Michael) Posch, Donald Wolkowitz; a great grandchild, Dylan; and two sisters, Dorothy (the late Joseph) Kearn of Sonoma, Ca., and Mary Ann (Ronald) Van Pelt of Penn Valley Ca.
     She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Hill (1967); her parents; and a sister, Mildred.
     Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, September, 21, at the Community Church of Round Lake, 217 Goodnow Blvd, Round Lake, IL.
     The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 22, at the Church. The Rev. Thomas Curry will officiate.
     Interment will be in Avon Centre Cemetery, Grayslake.
