Frank began his earthly journey on December 11,1944. He was born in Chicago Illinois to the late Frank Pungiture and Dorothy (Hurry) Pungiture. He went to McPherson grammar school and Amundsen High School in Chicago IL.
His career was in the graphic arts/printing industry. He also served over 35 dedicated years as an officer of the law; He served on the Arlington Heights reserve force and several years as a Commander. He then served 17 years working for McHenry County Sheriff’s Marine Unit followed by many years as Interim Chief for the Village of Richmond.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Mari Edda (Folkens), three daughters Joy, Gayle and Tammy, three stepdaughters Christina, Cindy and Carie, two sisters Betty Lou and Theresa Mary, He was blessed with fourteen grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He had a passion for classic cars, hot rods, going to car shows and enjoyed cooking. Frank was known as “a true gentleman” and “Jack of all trades”. He was a selfless compassionate man and always put others first.
Frank impacted many lives and touched numerous hearts.
He ended his earthly journey on June 06, 2022 and was welcome into Jesus arm’s.
A small celebration of life will take place at 2847 Forestview Dr. Carpentersville, IL 60110 on June 18, 2022 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
