Freddy was great, always had a smile and a kind word. He was fun to play HORSE with even with his two handed set shot.

Freddy was one of the most memorable people I have ever met. He was so friendly and had the best recollect. He never forgot your name or circumstance. We exchanged Christmas cards til several years ago. When he worked for the high school, often he was the first friendly face you saw. He had an amazing voice and would stop his work briefly, take the microphone at our sock hops to sing Bobby Vinton’s Blue Velvet. I was honored to call him friend. Jeanne ( Wilczynski) Cox
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Fred was so much an influence on all of us in our high school years. His kindness and love for all the RLHS students was evident at all of the sports events, the sock hops (I have always remembered "Blue Velvet") and in the halls we roamed day after day. Rest in peace dear Fred. You were truly loved by all!

Fred was a friend to all and will be greatly missed. He was good friends with my Dad when he worked at the school and when he passed away, Fred was there with tears in his eyes because that's how much he cared, not just for him, but for everyone. When I was in High School he was such a good friend. We kept in contact throughout the years. I will miss calling him just to say hi. Rest in Peace my Dear Friend. You've had a wonderful life and were loved by so many. You will be missed so much. Love you my Friend. I also want to offer my condolences to those that took such good care of him all the way to the end. God Bless you, and Thank you!

I’ve thought of Freddy so often over the years! He was the kindest man, always cheerful when I’d see him and he knew quite a few of us by name. He was a very special part of my HS years and a blessing to the community. Rest In Peace Freddy
Marcia Howie (Mullenix) left a message on November 30, 2020:
Freddie and my mom, Florence Mullenix, were the best of friends. After my dad passed, Freddie and mom were morning coffee buddies. He's the one who called us the morning she had passed and didn't answer the door. I am sure they are sitting at the table together again. R.I.P our gentle friend.

Fred you’ve been so special to us, we miss you so much already! Fred and I became friends 30+ years ago. He quickly became part of our family, spending holidays and birthdays together. He loved home cooked meals and had some favorite appetizers, so every time we’d get together, of course he’d get his favorites! He was also partial to Margaritas! Whenever we were together, he counted on my Mom and daughter to join him with a Margarita! We have so many great memories, we’re so glad that you were in our lives and you will be greatly missed. Love you lot’s!

Fred was the biggest fan of the RLHS Panthers! He never missed a chance to back the students and sing the school song. Be at peace Fred.

Fred was a backyard neighbor when I was a kid. My sister Kristie died in 1963 in an accident in our home. The ambulance showed up first and Freddie was second to our door, right behind Mrs. Reichman. He brought a pot roast and a pie his mom had made. He stopped by once a week to mow the grass or clean the gutters while my mom mourned. A better man has not been born. A true neighbor. God has blessed us all just to know him. RIP Fred...rest easy now.
