George W. Primus, age 75, of Round Lake, died Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Kindred Hospital in Northlake.
He was born August 11, 1932 in Mauston, Wisconsin to George C. and Ruth (Taggi) Primus. On October 7, 1976, he married Kathleen Bloom in Waukegan.
Previously of Algonquin, George moved to Round Lake in 1988. He was a diesel mechanic for over 30 years with Raun Transport in Gurnee, and retired in 1995. After retirement, he became the proprietor of the Round Lake Laundry.
He was a member of the Fox Memorial Post 9655 of Fox Lake and Moose Lodge 525 of Antioch. An avid fisherman, George’s favorite place to fish was at Fremont, Wisconsin.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Kathleen; two children, James E. (Patty) Ryan of Stanton, Missouri, Tina M. (Michael) Crisman of Wauconda; two grandchildren, Kayla and Brandon; two sisters, Marion (Lee) Katz of Denver, Colorado, and Betty (Lloyd) Delask of Medford, Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Justen’s Round Lake Funeral Home, 222 W. North Rosedale Court (at Cedar Lake Road), Round Lake, IL 60073.
The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, at the funeral home. The Rev. Lisle Kauffman will officiate.
Inurnment will be in Warren Cemetery,
