I offer my deepest condolences to Gerry's family. I managed volunteers at Norwood Crossing until May 2020 and Gerry was one of our favorites - helping others have a good time at Bingo and Gutsy Dice. He was a dear friend of my mother Patricia Hammer who lived at Norwood too - although now she's at Bethesda Senior Care. She cared for him very much and he made everyone laugh. He was a wonderful guy and will be missed - may his memory be a blessing to you.

Jerry was my older cousin so we did not see each other very often. I was lucky to reconnect with him at a dinner on St Pete Beach. It was such a nice visit. My thoughts are with all of the family.

Gerry was his name to family and friends. I'm one of his nephews. During the last few months we would visit when he was in Chicago or I was in Woodstock. Also talking and texting on the cell phone. In person or on the phone we would reminisce about years past. He had a good memory for things people forgot years ago. And sometimes decades ago. And we would always talk about cars and trucks. He also would always share one or two bad jokes. Gerry liked to wheel and deal. (with mixed results.) I really will miss our visits and talks. BEEP BEEP! Gerry.
