Gregory Michael Weyers, age 47 of Johnsburg, IL, passed away on February 26, 2022. He was born on February 19, 1975, in St Charles, IL to Herb and Beverly (Strinic) Weyers. He married his loving wife Christina Bianco on August 31, 2012, at the First Congregational Church in West Dundee.
Greg’s passion in life was to help others. He lived his dream of owning his own business and living on the scenic Fox River in northern Illinois. Greg loved to restore ski boats and spent much of his childhood and adult life participating in the sport show skiing and made lifelong friendships within its passionate community. He loved animals and rescued a handful pets over the years. Greg was very handy, a wealth of knowledge and could build anything he put his mind to. The love and loyalty he had for his friends and family was his greatest accomplishment.
Greg is survived by his loving wife; Christina, his sister; Melissa Sportun, his nephews; Avery and Riley Sportun, Aunt Jocelyn Servick and Uncle Gary Steinhafel, and his in laws; Sue and Richard Bianco and Lori and Matt Kandel.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Herb and Beverly (Strinic) Weyers.
Visitation will be held at the Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry, IL, on Saturday, March 5, 2022, from 12-3 pm. A memorial service will follow at 3 pm. In accordance with public gatherings, all attendees are required to wear face coverings.
