Jacqueline J. Glosson, age 76, of McHenry, died Friday, November 18, 2016, at Centegra Hospital-McHenry.
She was born June 27, 1940 in Whitehall, IL to Max and Bernice (Tatman) Brady. She was raised in Crystal Lake and graduated from Central High School. Jackie married Douglas Glosson on April 4, 1970 in Chicago and, following her marriage, they made their home in McHenry.
Jackie enjoyed being with her family, traveling around Wisconsin with her husband, and following Bulls and college basketball games. She also appreciated the outdoors – sitting by an evening fire, going camping, and tending to her flowers.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Douglas; four sons, Tim (Lisa) Glosson; Randall Glosson, Ronald W. (Kim) Glosson, and Richard W. (Deborah) Glosson; daughter-in-law, Mary Glosson; and eight grandchildren, Jack, Macy, Pamela (John) Katie (Collin), Anthony, Blake, Rachel, Jennifer; a sister, Karen (Bryan) Dammann; niece Megan Hutchinson, and nephews Brett (Kim) Dammann and Max Dammann.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Brady.
Friends may visit with her family from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016, at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry, IL 60050. The memorial service will follow visitation at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
