John Joseph Bradley, Jr., age 21, of Woodstock, died Thursday, September 9, 2010 in St. Louis following a single vehicle accident.
He was born April 26, 1989 in Torrington, CT, to John and Angela (Wallace) Bradley. John attended Woodstock High School, where he participated in football and wrestling before graduating in 2007. Following high school graduation, he attended Bradley University in Peoria, where he was majoring in History. He recently had begun student teaching and was looking forward to graduating in May.
He enjoyed adventuring in the great outdoors, tree climbing, and the sport of playing hacky sack.
Survivors include his parents; three siblings, Matthew, a 5th year senior at Bradley University, Zachary, of Jefferson City, MO, and Emily, also of Jefferson City; two half-sisters, Johnnie (Jason) Murray of Paragould, AR, and Christina Bradley-Edwards of Memphis, TN; two half-brothers, Benjamin Bradley of Athens, AL, and Aaron Bradley of Decatur, AL; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Roberts of Fulton, KY; his paternal grandmother, Lorraine Bradley of McHenry; and many aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ronald Roberts; and his paternal grandfather, Francis Bradley.
Visitation will be from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Rd., McHenry, IL 60050. The funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded and inurnment will be in McHenry County Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodstock.
