Family of John Ramberg… Though it’s been decades since talking to or seeing John he left a permanent mark on those close to him. A good person…a good man and someone who will certainly be missed. I remember John from teaching him in 6th grade until working with the Seniors for JHS graduation in 1979, he was always an absolute joy to know. A quality person who is certainly a loss to his family and friends.

John was my first friend when I moved to Johnsburg (1972?) in the 6th grade (Miss Brennen's class) I had a 45 record (the lion sleeps tonight) that he wanted so I traded him for a 45 (chicka-boom) and I still have that record to this day. John was always willing to help me with whatever I needed. In recent years he visited me more than anyone has and I'm grateful for those visits. He had a personality that overflowed with charisma. You will be missed and I look forward to seeing you again "upstairs" .
