My oldest friend, dating back to when we were 4or 5 yrs old ice skating at Waters school field playing Johnny across. Hitting our 60's I took him up to the Peet Ice Sksting arena in Milwaukee, we tried. Went to Hayward Wisconsin with his parents in our adolescents. Joe and I camped on an island overnight. In the middle of the night I heard something running thru the brush, shook Joe and it stopped. He said You're dreaming ! Layed back down in our sleeping bags and I heard it run off in a different direction He was kind of a big brother. He yse to love telling the story of pulling him in our boat water skiing on channel lake and I jumped out, waved to him as he skied bye. Hitting our teens was one story after another, then we all went in the service. Caught up with him in-between transferring bases and made up for list time at Lake Geneva and the channel lake cottage. Out of the service in our 20's was motorcycles and more stories that would fill volumes. From there it was time to raise a family, work live, barley enough time for anything. Rest In Peace Joe, you're an example of a Good man, proud to have known you and shared so many memories. God's Speed, Ride Free ! Russ Talbott
