Judith Ann “Oodoo” Ludvigsen, age 59, of McHenry, died unexpectedly Saturday, October 6, 2012, at her home.
She was born January 30, 1953 in Chicago to William and Louise B. (Rudny) Ludvigsen.
Formerly a longtime resident of Chicago, Judith was a resident of Georgia before moving to McHenry in 2005. From 1970 to 2004, she was a supervisor of long lines with AT&T and traveled extensively for her job.
She cherished her friends and family, and was a loving aunt and great-aunt.
She is survived by a brother, Kenneth (the late Angelica) Ludvigsen Sr.; a niece, Angelica (Brad) Buthman; two nephews, Ken (Cristina) Ludvigsen and Allen (Jennifer) Ludvigsen; and grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Kenny, Graciela, Jack, Isabella, Benjamin, and Maggie.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 11, 2012, at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry, IL 60050. The funeral service will be at 7 p.m., with Rev. Paul White officiating.
Inurnment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
