Julius Anthony Prucher, age 55, of Round Lake Beach, died Sunday, November 4, 2007 at his home.
He was born February 1, 1952 in Evanston to Paul J. and Dorothy M. (Fischer) Prucher.
Julius was a resident of Round Lake Beach for many years. He was employed at Northrop-Grumman in Barrington as an electronics engineer. He had also worked at New Trier High School as an information systems technologist.
He enjoyed repairing automobiles, was an avid music enthusiast and he enjoyed playing the bass guitar. Julius was a member of the North Suburban Mennonite Church in Libertyville.
He is survived by three children, Raymond (Mary) Prucher of Brooklyn, N.Y., Janna (Nathan) Philipp of Waukegan, Eric Prucher of Round Lake Beach; a brother, Steve Prucher of Clearwater, Fl.; and two sisters, Pamela Prucher of Clearwater and Sandra Goodell of Walla Walla, Washington.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, November 8, at Justen’s Round Lake Funeral Home, 222 N. Rosedale Ct., Round Lake, IL 60073.
Prayers will be said by the Mennonite Church at 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be private.
