Kathleen L.”Kathy” Noble, age 60, died Thursday, January 25, at her home. She was born January 24, 1947 in Woodstock to John and Catherine (McCarthy) Noble.
Kathleen was raised in Wonder Lake, and lived most of her adult life in Ringwood. She attended Woodstock High School, graduating with the Class of 1965.
A former employee of Oak Industries, she worked as a punch press operator for 26 years. Upon the close of that plant in 1991, she held similar jobs in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Her good humor and strong work ethic earned the respect of both co-workers and management in a predominantly male industry.
Kathy was a very devoted aunt who loved camping and touring, but mostly spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include a brother, Michael (Peggy) Noble of Cedar Hill, TN; four sisters, Roberta Noble of Belleville, IL, Alice (Richard) Allgire of Carterville, Jorjann (Roger) Begley of Woodstock, Mary (Duaine) Stone of Adams, WI; ten nieces and nephews and 12 great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her extended family, the Fernstroms.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, James, in infancy. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Monday, January 29, at the George R. Justen & Son Funeral Home, 3519 W. Elm St., McHenry, IL 60050. The memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
Inurnment will be private.
