Lawrence E. Diehl, age 43, of Salt Lake City and formerly of McHenry, died Saturday, September 29, 2007 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born March 25, 1964 in Blue Island to Ronald Francis and Joan Marie (Johnson) Diehl.
Lawrence had lived in Salt Lake City for the past three months where he was employed as a welder. He was formerly of McHenry, and previously to that he had lived in Salt Lake City and Canton, Georgia. While living in Georgia he worked at his brothers concrete construction company and while living in McHenry he was employed at Huntley Offset Press Operation.
Survivors include his parents, Ronald and Irene (Lumley) Diehl; five brothers, William (Angela) Diehl of Canton, GA, Timothy (Laura) Diehl of Rockford, Daniel Diehl of Hollywood, CA., Robert (Karin) Wethington of Johnsburg, Mark (Teresa) Wethington of Valparaiso, IN.; five nieces, Jennifer, Angelic, Diana, Jennifer, Heather; and six nephews, Jeremy, Richard, Nathan, Joseph, Randal and Andrew.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Marie Diehl on Feb. 17, 1973; and a sister in infancy, Laura Diehl on Nov. 30, 1961.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 5, 2007 at the George R. Justen & Son Funeral Home 3519 W. Elm St., McHenry, Il. 60050.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 5, at the funeral home. The Rev. Best will officiate.
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Evergreen Park.
