Lawrence Michael Corrao, known by those closest to him as “Butchie”.
Lawrence “Michael” was born in Orange NJ on June, 12, 1978. He grew up in Huntington Beach CA., graduating with honors from Ocean View High School. He then served in the United States Navy. After being honorable discharged, he continued his education while living with his Grandmother, Barbara L. Merwin of West Orange, NJ. Michael then made his home in Johnsburg IL where he sadly passed away on May 22, 2022.
Michael is survived by his mother, Allison L. Wilfong, sister Bonnie L. Wilfong and nephew Mikah Mitchell of Elgin Illinois, Grandmother Barbara L. Merwin of West Orange, and his Uncle Michael Merwin of South Carolina.
Those who wish to attend the Memorial Service are welcome to join the celebration of Lawrence M. Corrao’s life on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 pm at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main St. in West Orange, New Jersey. For those unable to attend, there will be a casual celebration of life held in Johnsburg, IL on Michael’s birthday June 12, 2022.
