Lester Pryor, the loving husband of Bonnie Yunowich Pryor passed away on September 14, 2015 surrounded by his family after battling cancer for only 3 months.
He was genuinely loved and respected by his children, Anthony E Pryor (Jennifer) and Tara (Pryor) Epping (Michael) and his grandchildren Nathan and Lauren Pryor and Trevor, Tayler, Ashley and Jared Epping.
Lester was born on Dec 11 1947 to Harry and Florence Pryor in Chicago, IL where he lived until he married Bonnie Yunowich on October 21,1967 at that time he moved to Richmond IL and finally finishing his life living in Spring Grove, IL where he loved spending all is time working and mowing his lawn.
Lester Pryor was drafted into the Army on February 6,1968and was stationed in Nuernberg, Germany during the Vietnam war.
Through the years Les worked for Carson Pirie Scott in Chicago starting in 1965 then went on to MCI and World com. Then finishing up at American Girl in Wilmot, Wisconsin. Where he was respected as not only as a boss, but a good friend known for his always smiling face.
Les was a baseball coach, a member of the Lion’s club, school board member at Richmond grade school, and the president of The Preserve Subdivision Association in Spring Grove since the beginning.
He was an avid Golfer and enjoyed the time he spent on the links of Twin Lakes Country club where he was also a member. He was a fan of the Chicago sports teams. He was hoping this was the year the Cubs won it all. But most of all he was the biggest fan of all his grandchildren’s games, meets and concerts.
What Les was best as was being a friend to all, and he lit up every room with his smile. He will be deeply missed forever.
We loved you more anyone could you truly were a very special man.
A memorial will be held on Sunday October 11 2015 from 1 pm to 5 pm with a small service at 130 at the Twin Lakes Country Club 1230 Legion Drive, Twin Lakes WI 53181
