Lois will be deeply missed by her family and friends, as her intellect, compassion, and devotion to family were monumental. She had a love for water, living on the lake most of her life. Lois enjoyed boating, sailing, and most of all, swimming. Playing the organ, reading and journaling were her favorite pastimes. Lois had a passion for traveling. Taking cruises around South America, Alaska, Norway, the Great Lakes and on the QE II around the world in 3 ½ months, and touring Asia and Europe. Lois shared her passions with others by teaching swimming, some of her grandchildren to play the piano, creating Fibromyalgia and Arthritis support groups, and assisting in developing programs at Christ the King parish.
She was Thomas’s lifelong partner in the insurance, land development, home building, real estate, and utilities businesses.
She was a beautiful person in so many ways. Lois was a loving and supportive wife, a nurturing mother, a treasured grandmother, and a valued friend.
