Lorraine E. Bradley, age 85, died Thursday, December 2, 2010, at Centegra Hospital-McHenry. She was born October 25, 1925 in Volo to Joseph W. and Laura (Henry) Wiser. On April 19, 1945, Lorraine married Francis Bradley at St. Thomas Church in Crystal Lake.
A longtime resident of McHenry, she was a member of St. Mary’s Church in McHenry as well as the Christian Mother’s Club.
Survivors include five children, Kathleen M. Bradley, William Bradley, both of West Dundee, John Bradley of Jefferson City, MO, Tim Bradley of West Dundee, and Mark Bradley of Elgin; 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Genevieve Wiser; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband on May 29, 1993; two sons, Lawrence in 1978 and Michael in 1994; a grandson, J. J. on Sept. 8, 2010; and 9 sisters, Sister Edinia, Sister Genevieve, UnaWegner, Frances, Rosemary Justen, Carmel Maynard, Helen Brown, Laura Phannestill, 3 brothers, Joseph, Edward, and James Wiser.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory.
The funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, at St. Mary’s Church, 1401 N. Richmond Road, McHenry.
Interment will be in McHenry County Memorial Park, Woodstock.
