My deepest condolences to Mark’s family. While I don’t know the family or Mark personally, my son is Scott Schmidt and I always felt like I knew Mark. Scott talked of him fondly and frequently and shared stories. Wonderful man! Jaime, know that you’ll never be alone with all those firefighters-lean on them?. Shirley Brown

I am so very sorry for all of your loss. When I first got on MTFPD in 2008 I was one of many Mark took under his wing. I learned much about how to be a leader and a good man from him. His legacy will be carried on by those that had the privilege to know him or here the stories about him.
