Mark V. Boerner Jr., age 34, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, died Friday, October 26, 2007, at Penrose Main Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
He was born December 12, 1972 in Chicago to Mark V. and Karen (Moson) Boerner.
Formerly of Peoria and Lake in the Hills, he resided in Colorado Springs for the past 18 months.
Mark will be remembered as a free spirit with many challenges. He loved the outdoors. He also enjoyed working with his hands, especially working on cars and woodworking.
He is survived by his parents, Mark and Karen Boerner of McHenry; two sisters, Jean (Gregory) Bowman of Crystal Lake, and Jennifer Small of Cary; a brother, Michael D. Boerner of Seattle, Washington; two nieces, Kailee Small and Claire Bowman; and a nephew, Grant Bowman.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at The Church of Holy Apostles, 5211 W. Bull Valley Road, McHenry, IL 60050.
Visitation will continue Wednesday, October 31, from noon until the funeral Mass is celebrated at 1 p.m. at The Church of Holy Apostles.
Interment will be in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
