Maurice M. Bello suddenly and tragically passed on March 6, 2022. A beloved and caring son, brother, husband, father, partner, and dear friend that will be truly missed. Born on March 12, 1957, Mo was the middle brother of three boys. Morey and Lori had their hands full with these three rough and tumble boys.…

I am so sorry to hear about Mory's unexpected passing. I met Mory 46 years ago since then we worked together on many remodeling projects. He was a very capable plumber with keen sence of problem solving on challenging projects. He was a fun guy to have around. His presence will be missed. May he rest in Peace.

Morey Bello was a blessing to all who were lucky enough to call him friend. I could post for an hour about the fun times we had, the examples of his huge heart and how good a man he was. First, he had awesome parents who undoubtedly had a lot to do with the man he was. I was in a bowling league with Lori and Morey Sr. "The Chief" was and I'm sure still is a hilarious guy! Lori was on my team for a couple of years with my Mom and Dad and was the best bowler on our team. Morey Jr. came to the wakes of both of my parents, even though we'd lost touch for quite a while. He also sold my Mom a Rainbow vacuum cleaner! You couldn't say no to Morey, and he didn't say no to others when they needed him. What an amazing friend who will be missed by so many. Love you bud.

My condolences to the entire Bello family. I only briefly saw Mary a few times long ago, and once met Kate when she was younger. As a client and neighbor, Mo was always there for me. I always appreciated his honesty and integrity, and of course, his smile and happy nature. Later I enjoyed seeing Louise and Mo when walking my dogs, or bumping into them at the grocery store. I hope your memories will be a comfort during this difficult time, my prayers are with you.

Our family is very sad to lean about the loss of Morey. We met him as our plumber and enjoyed each one of his visits. There were quite a few visits through the years to our old house! Morey and his partner at work always laughed and talked and showed that they loved their career. One special memory ….on one visit Morey met our daughter Maggie (who had severe disabilities following a stroke) while she was working on a jigsaw puzzle. He later came by the house with another puzzle to give to her. It was such a kind and thoughtful act…. and probably the type of thing Morey did for many people through the years. The world has lost a happy, hard-working, skilled, honest, fair and KIND person. Our deepest sympathies to the Bello family.

Maury has been a wonderful neighbor and friend for 33 years. I enjoyed every conversation I had with him (which always included laughter). I’ll never forget his smile, his warm sense of humor and his ability to truly care for others. Maury happened to call us back in February to check on us. Said something looked out of the ordinary for our house and wanted to be sure we were alright. I knew Maury always had our back and we so appreciated him watching out for us. I already miss seeing him in the yard or sitting on the back deck. And I bet every time I hear a Harley, I’ll smile and think of Maury. Come good home Maury.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Morry’s passing. Please accept our heartfelt condolences and know our prayers of comfort and peace are with you. I remember helping in the kitchen at the rehearsal dinner with Judy Atkins. It was a fun, happy time . Also, the day Kate was born was the day my first husband died so I have always felt that we were hundred spirits. I know how much family means to all Bello’s and how proud they are of all their accomplishments, with that said, Morry you were truly loved.

I grew up with the Bello family from second grade on. We all had serious fun with them. Morey and I rode together for several years. I continue to talk to Mrs and Mr Bello on a regular basis to stay in touch. MO my friend rest in peace and ride the wind in heaven.

Maury was two years and six days younger than me, and if our high schools had not redistricted, I might've given you other girls a run for your money. Maury senior was my brothers' scout master, and he and Lorraine good friends of my mom. Bello & Sons naturally became our plumbers. Maury had his dad's Indian blood - and his high-risk behavior and his practicality and wit - but his mom carefully laid in her son's solid Catholic values. When we were in our 30s, he said to me, "I thought about becoming a Catholic priest, but -- too horny!" Thanks for sparing the priesthood more scandals, Mo - but also for being such a rare, earthy, all-stops-out lover of life. You made the world a better place for everyone you touched or talked to. Bello family, the Thorsens grieve your loss, but are blessed to have known your son.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I am saddened beyond words to learn of Morey's passing. Hearing about it on his birthday of all days and the day before the 21st anniversary of the passing of our son Douglas. It was like a punch to the gut, and I have been in deep meditation since. How can I describe a man who lived life fully on his terms with honesty, integrity and above all else, true compassion and concern for everyone that crossed his path. He was the embodiment of brotherly love, always living by the Golden rule. Having moved away I haven't been in his daily life for years but we texted back and forth keeping in touch. He was my good friend and brother whom I shared much of my life with and I will miss him very much. Until we meet again Morey, keep the shiney side up and the greasy side down ride free and easy my brother, love you.
