On the 24th day of May in the year of 2021 Michael Giegoldt (May 9, 1950) son of Cyril and Virginia Giegoldt went home to the arms of our lord. A loving and devoted family man he leaves behind his wife of 49 years Jane Giegoldt (Nee Adams); four daughters: Erin (Gregory) Kane Jr, Ginny Anderson, Renee (Shawn) White, Michelle (Sam) Ward; siblings: Diane, Mark (Donna), and Kevin; four grandchildren: Gregory Kane III, Allison Kane, Mikey Anderson, Colton White, and his beloved lab Gus.
Michael worked as a Journeyman tool and die maker for 50 years before retiring in 2018. A seasoned outdoors man he loved bird hunting and fishing. He was a proud member of the Gages Lake Snowmobile Club and helped organize the annual trap shoot fundraiser. He was a gun enthusiast and an avid collector of antique and modern firearms.
Above all else he enjoyed spending time with family, whether having everyone over for a cookout and swimming or for pizza and TV that is when he was truly happy.
