Richard Alan Prisching passed away at his residence on July 29, 2022, at the age of 70. He was born on May 14, 1952, in Chicago IL, to Richard John Prisching and Elaine Boettcher, he married the love of his life, Joy Breda on December 13, 1986, at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Lake Zurich IL.
Richard “Rick” grew up in Chicago, IL and graduated from Luther North High School in Chicago and Western Illinois University.
He loved all sports in general and played football in a local team until he was 45 years old, he was also an avid golfer, snow and water skier. Rick enjoyed boating on Lake Wisconsin and Lake Geneva his entire life. He also coached his son’s McHenry VFW baseball teams that won National Championships two years in a row (very proud moments). He was a Logistics Engineer for Flying Tigers and Federal Express for the majority of his career. He was a caring person and a loving husband.
He will be missed forever by so many.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 35 years Joy and his son Benjamin Prisching, his sisters Gayle (Doug) Brousil and Dona (Craig) Hamilton.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
