Richard Litowchak, age 54, of McHenry IL passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 5, 1967, in South Amboy, New Jersey, to Richard and Agnes (Sas) Litowchak.
He married the love of his life, Patricia Wiemerslage on May 10, 1997.
Richard was a man of many talents. He was the proud owner of MT Flooring for many decades. He was able to fix and build anything he set his mind to. He was a great woodworker and remodeling houses was one of his favorite hobbies. Forget buying cabinets or doors, he would custom build them. For many of you if you look at your floors, he was the man who did them.
When he wasn’t working with his hands, you could usually find him building memories with friends and family. He loved fast cars, and in more recent years going for motorcycle rides with no real destination. He enjoyed many concerts, Blackhawks games, and cooking enough amazing food to feed all (and more). He spent his free time boating, going on vacations, and so much more, but his true joy came from spending time with his family.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 25 years, Patricia “Patti” Litowchak, his children, Emily Litowchak and Jack Holding, his sister Kim (Brian) Flynn, his stepmother Patricia Litowchak, his loving in-laws, his four-legged best friend Chloe, men that became brothers, and many other cherished loved ones and friends that became family.
He is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Agnes (Sas) Litowchak.
