Shannon Lemon left a message on April 10, 2019:
My big strong Daddy! I miss you so much. I can’t believe you are gone. I miss hearing your voice say “Hey baby girl”. I will never forget the memories I have of you. Especially how fun you made Halloween, which I now carry on the tradition with my 7 children. I will never forget roasting marshmallows over the fire, your burnt cheeseburgers off the grill, star gazing together and you teaching me about different constellations. I will never forget falling asleep on the living room floor watching TV and you carrying me to bed and tucking me in. I’ll never forget how much you always loved spoiling me with candy and treats. I’ll never forget hot rodding in the Nova with you and you letting me sit on your lap and steer. I will never forget when you came home from work with a kitten tucked in your coat for me, that was every little girls dream and you made it come true for me! I’ll never forget falling asleep curled up on your lap while you stroked my hair. I was your baby girl, I was daddy’s girl and I never left your side. We did everything together! I love you more than anything in this world and I am blessed to have had you for my father. I wish more people got to know how soft you were on this inside and how caring you truly were. I’m sorry more people didn’t see what I seen. I hope you know exactly how much I love you. May you Rest In Peace daddy!
