Robert C. Lehnhoff, age 80, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Condell Medical Center, Libertyville.
He was born June 2, 1925 in Windom, MN to Nicholas and Gladys (Hunt) Lehnhoff. On July 30, 1955 he married Margaret who preceeded him in death on March 19, 1991.
Robert was a resident of Mundelein from 1964 until 1984, when he moved to Bridgeview. Most recently he had been a resident of Round Lake since 2001.
Robert was worked as a truck driver, he was employed with Mead Co. and also with Liberty Trucking. He was a member of Local Union #705.
Robert loved hunting. He enjoyed taking trips out west to Wyoming, Montana, and north to Canada to hunt deer, antelope and moose.
Survivors include his children, Phyllis (Rex) Smith of Lake Villa, Robert J. Lehnhoff of Round Lake, Charmaine (David) Cerer of Antioch, Diane Caldwell of Round Lake; three grandsons; four granddaughters; one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret two brothers; and his parents.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at the Justen’s Round Lake Funeral Home, 222 North Rosedale Ct. (at Cedar Lake Road), Round Lake, IL 60073.
The funeral Service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
