Robert L. Froeming, age 85 recently of Johnsburg, IL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 12, 2022. He was born in Elmhurst, IL on March 13, 1937, to Werner and Daisy Froeming.

Robert served his country proudly in the Army during WWII. He lived most of his adult life in Twin Lakes, WI, enjoying boating and water skiing on Lake Mary and Lake Elizabeth. He married his best friend and love Lucy in 1985. Together they enjoyed hosting family and friends at their beautiful lakefront home. Bob’s passion was playing golf. He was active in the many events and activities at Big Foot Country Club in Fontana, WI, where he was a member for over 30 years. Bob and Lucy were world travelers but especially loved their time in England and Scotland due to the challenging golf courses. Bob’s life work included a sales rep at Granger and becoming an entrepreneur as an independent sales rep for a variety of tool manufacturers. Bob was a sportsman and participated in football, softball, hockey, and snowmobiling in his younger years. He was a true Green Bay Packers and Chicago White Sox fan and never missed a game. Bob was an animal lover especially his cats, Smokey, Missy, and Fluffy. Bob loved his family and took pride in his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Robert is survived by his devoted son; Ken (Lynn) Froeming, his beloved grandchildren; Rebecca (Grant) White and Kelley (Tim) Andrus and his beautiful great grandchildren; Natalie, Elaina, Grayson, and Olivia.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Lucy (Kimball) Froeming, his parents Werner and Daisy Froeming, and his sister Betty (Bob) Roehr.
