Ronald John Jaworski, age 79, of Round Lake Beach, died suddenly and peacefully, Monday, March 7, 2016 at his residence. He was born June 23, 1936 in Chicago to Frank and Florence (Sohrbeck) Jaworski.
Ron grew up on Chicago’s north side, before settling in Prospect Heights, Ingleside, and then Round Lake Beach.
Ronald proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed his career as a Milkman, from the early 1960’s until his retirement in 2005, serving multiple generations of families on Chicago’s North Shore. He loved riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle, and also loved playing Santa, with his long grey beard, he was in character year round. He was a loving Dad, proud and caring Grandfather, and great friend, who will be missed by many.
Ron is survived by his two sons, John (Carrie) Jaworski, Tom (Lisa) Jaworski: two grandchildren, Grace and Joshua; and his sister Joan (Ron) Goyke: many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
To honor Ron, we are having a “Celebration of Life,” Wednesday, 3/16/16 at 5:30-8:30 at D’Agostino’s in Wheeling. 241 S. Milwaukee Ave. Our loving Father will be buried at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL with Full Military Honors, on Friday the 18th at 11:00am.
