Rosalie A. Clingerman, age 79, of Zion, passed away Monday, November 11, 2019, in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Chicago on December 21, 1939, to Joseph and Rosalie (Lentek) Gliniewicz.
Rosalie was born and raised in Chicago, and moved with her parents to the Round Lake area in the 40’s. She attended Grant High School however, Rosalie graduated from Round Lake High School in the Class of 1958. She was a valued employee of Huff Company in Libertyville, she also was a teacher’s aid for Ellis School. Rosalie enjoyed her career for over 30 years as a dispatcher and record keeper for Round Lake Beach Police Department.
Rosalie leaves behind five children, Lenny (Tracy) Gahgan, Jeff (Veronica) Gahgan, Denise (Terry) Edwards, Edward Clingerman, Roxane (the late Michael) Parsons; fourteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband, David and her brother, Joseph.
Services were private for Rosalie’s family.
