Mother Radles passing took me by surprise and punched me pretty hard in the heart. My family moved to round lake beach in 1975 across the street from the Radles. They were the first family that we met, I was all of 2 and half years old, but I remember meeting Mother Radles and realizing very quickly that she had the heart of an angel. There are so many memories to try to pick one wouldn't define the impact she made on my life as I'm sure that goes for all of the neighborhood kids. I only hope that she truly knew how much she was loved and she always gave the the feeling that you can always come home, even if it wasn't yours. It will truly never be the same going back to the neighborhood knowing she isn't there. Keep an eye on us kids up there like you did in the neighborhood Mother Radle. You are missed. Thank you for letting me be a part of your life, Love Trina

I am so sorry for your loss. Sandy was such a sweet lady! Many years passed and about 7 years ago I reconnected with her. I am glad we did, since she also caught up with her long time friend, my mom. We shared some late night talks either online or on the phone. She told me all about her family and how much she loved them. We were supposed to meet for lunch a few years ago and I sorry that didn't get to happen. Rest in peace Sandy, you are truly an angel now.
