Shirley Dohr, age 93 of Round Lake, IL., passed away peacefully on June 1, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 28, 1929 in River Grove, IL, to Arthur and Lillian (Olsen) Untiedt. She met and married the love of her life James Dohr on May 20, 1950.

Shirley enjoyed keeping her home and caring for her family, which were her greatest accomplishments. She was a very laid back and easy-going person who loved to crochet.

Shirley is survived by her children; Lawrence Dohr, Robert (Peggy) Dohr, Susan Misch (Lee Scherer), Janis (Ben) Thompson, Judith (Cary) Brown, her 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, James, a daughter Kathi, her parents, Arthur Untiedt, Lillian and Leonard Goodman, siblings, Gloria Newsom and Richard Goodman.

Inurnment will be on June 27, 2022, at 10:30 am at the Ascension Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Road, Libertyville, IL followed by a gathering of family and friends at Gwen’s House, 235 Thrush Circle, Lindenhurst, IL.
