Bruce and Pam Sansone left a message on December 3, 2016:
We would like to offer our sincere condolence to your family on the passing of Terry Ridenour. Unfortunately, we are unable to attend the service and the celebration of life today. Bruce and I would like to express some fond memories of Terry as both a friend and neighbor. Bruce remembers the time when he went duck hunting with Terry and Chelsea. They went out on the lake early in the morning on a cold November day. After several hours of drinking beer and waiting for the ducks (which never materialized) they looked out and noticed the lake had frozen at least a ¼ inch. Long story short…. they had to literally jump on the front of the john boat to break the ice all the way back. He still laughs and tells this story often to our friends and family. Overall, he says it was a great time. He also remembers the times he sailed with Terry & Mac in the yacht club races. I remember how Terry always seemed to be there to help me retrieve our boats and rafts when they would break away by the wind howling from the south. We would have never been able to get them back without his help. He was a great neighbor and friend. He would often stop by on his golf cart just to chat or say hi. If he saw me walking down the road he would pick me up and drive me home on the cart just to have a few minutes to talk. I will miss his sense of humor and friendship. Bruce and I both remember over the years the many celebrations and parties at his house and ours. We are both so sad by his passing.
