Thomas Joseph Pancyrz, age 63, of Wonder Lake, died Sunday, June 22, 2014 at his home.
He was born September 20, 1950 in Stanley, Wisconsin to Joseph and Stella (Perdo) Pancyrz. On March 24, 1990 he married Eileen C. Keller in Woodstock.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War as a fuel tanker driver.
He was employed at various companies in the fuel trucking industry for most of his life. He was a member of the American Legion Sharvin Post of North Chicago. Thomas was a western movie buff and enjoyed ‘The Duke’, John Wayne movies and Paladin, Have Gun – Will Travel. Thomas loved his grandchildren, they always brought a smile to his face.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Eileen; a daughter, Anastasia Sitter; three grandchildren, Gage, Phineaus, Piper; three brothers, Terry (Jonie) Pancyrz, Richard Pancyrz, Raymond Pancyrz; and a sister, Sharon (Robert) Baker.
He we preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Patricia.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry, IL 60050.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, at the funeral home.
