We were devastated to hear of Tyler's tragic passing. He was a good friend to many and his future was bright. I'll always remember him for his big smile, friendliness, politeness, and the fact that he seemed to enjoy conversations with his friend's parents. Not many teens have that skill or desire! He was a gem and will be missed by many. You have our sincere condolences and prayers.

Heather and family, we can not express how sad we are to know that Tyler left so soon. It’s doesn’t matter how much time goes by, when there is love it is as if it was just yesterday that we last saw each other. We have such great memories of Tyler, Jordan and Austin. Although Tyler and Jordan were the same Age, Tyler was the older brother of the three. Setting the other two straight when needed. We will miss his spirit and believe he will be forever on our hearts!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

So very sorry for the loss of this beautiful soul. He was a shining star at work - always there to help our patients, their families and our team. May he RIP his memory a blessing. We will be planting perennials and pollinator flowers in the cafeteria patio garden this spring in his beloved memory. One of our docs made a cedar bird feeder which we will hang from a tree...keep it stocked with seeds for the birds. Sending love hugs to the family.

I had a few classes with Tyler at the University of Michigan throughout our time there. He always had such a vibrant energy and made the most boring class fun. Every time I ran into him again, he always greeted me with such warmth; he treated everyone like a friend. I’m so sorry for your loss and just wanted to share how meaningful my small interactions with him were. Because of that, I know that he made an impact on the world.

Tyler is about 5 years old, we're at Wrigley Field with his grandparents, Sue & Bill King. Pre-game, Tyler is leaning on the rails by the Cubs dugout and calling out with his tiny voice: Mr. Morandini, Mr. Morandini, Mr. Morandina....to get an autograph. Morandini can't hear Tyler, but assistant coach Billy Williams (who is being a jerk and refusing to give autographs to anyone) takes one look at Tyler and he melts, pushes some players out of his way to get to Tyler to sign his baseball and baseball mitt and he gets Tyler's favorite player Mickey Morandini to come over and meet Tyler. Tyler had a 220 watt smile that could light up Wrigley Field (even though old timers were against having night games)! Tyler, I will blame sunny days after you, believing that your smile is shining down upon us. Happy for knowing you - will keep you in my heart. Heather, Sue, Bill, Adam, and everyone, sorry for your incredible loss. Peace.
Poppa Rod left a message on March 23, 2022:
The last time I saw Tyler he was hanging out with my son because they hadn’t seen each other in some time. I’m great full of that last memory. He kept cracking jokes and the last thing I see is his smile. A beautiful smile, one that brings me joy. Knowing that he’s rejoicing with the Angels as we try to cope with this major loss almost makes you feel as if a part of you has been taken away and it’s filled with a hollow feeling that will not go away. But I know that he’s with my Lord God and His Son and one day we will see each other again. Papa Rod loves you Tyler.
