Victoria W. Bostic, age 59, of Round Lake Beach, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
She was born February 10, 1953 in Cleveland, Ohio to Clayton Pedoniquotte and Eulah W. Elliot. On October 18, 1969 she married Ralph Bostic in Chicago.
A homemaker the majority of her life, Victoria had been employed for 10 years at Baxter in Round Lake.
A full-blooded member of the Chippewa Indian Tribe, Victoria was very proud of her Native American heritage. She often presented programs about her Chippewa heritage to children at schools throughout the area.
She was a very outgoing person and was cherished by many. A loving wife, mother, and sister, Victoria enjoyed being a doting grandmother. She also enjoyed the companionship of her three ‘grandpuppies’, Chino, Pedrolina and Veruca.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Ralph; two daughters, Jenneen (Ben) Hansen of Johnsburg, Jeanette (Daniel) Evert of Antioch; a granddaughter, Paige and a sister, Veronica Smith; a stepmother, Dorris; and four half brothers, Brian, David, Pete and Tony; and two half sisters, Martha and Nancy.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Vivian Babcock.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Justen’s Round Lake Funeral Home, 222 W. North Rosedale Court, (at Cedar Lake Road), Round Lake, IL 60073.
A Celebration Of Life will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, at the funeral home.
