I had the wonderful experience of meeting Virgie at a garage sale with her devoted daughters about 4 years ago. My husband and I moved up here from Crystal Lake 19 years ago, with no regrets. Vergie told me about her and her beloved husband raising their daughters in her original home. We went on to her devotion to the Nativity Lutheran Church and the food pantry, she was so proud she could walk across the street by herself at 95. I also noticed she mowed her own lawn! Lovely lady, she is with her beloved husband and our Lord. Linda S.
